I (* 1991 in Pegnitz) am a freelance cinematographer currently based in Berlin, Germany. Before attending the German Film and Television Academy (DFFB) in 2021, I worked in various roles, progressing from a 1st AC and gaffer to a Director of Photography over the course of several years.

My portfolio includes fiction, commercials, experimental films, documentaries and music videos.

I love what I do.
I shoot films which ask honest questions, don’t pretend to have all the answers, and find beauty where things get a little rough around the edges.

As a cinematographer, I care deeply about craft — not just lenses or lighting (though I’ll happily talk about those for hours), but about what makes a moment feel real. Emotional precision, focused visual storytelling, and keeping things human — that’s what guides me, both on screen and on set.

I’m drawn to stories that are grounded, imaginative, and just the right amount of weird. Because I believe film can shift perspectives. And that truth, told with heart and intention, can move us forward.
